Recently, the European Union issued an announcement on Commission Implementation of Regulation (EU) 2018/524, which announced that the period of validity of 24 pesticide active substances due on April 30, 2018 will be extended to April 30, 2019 and pesticides approved by the EU Active Substance List (EU) No. 540/2011 has been revised accordingly. The decision came into effect on April 1, 2018.

In addition, according to the latest news from the HSE of the UK Health and Safety Administration, the EU has now completed Propyzamide, Bentazone, Forchlorfenuron, Thithiofam, and Biclosamide ( Zoxamide) re-evaluation work, the above-mentioned re-assessment of active substances passed. The official EU approval document has not yet been announced.
According to the requirements of Chapter 43 of the EU pesticide regulations Regulation (EC) 1107/2009, formulations containing the above active substances can be applied for product authorizatioCandidate for Substitution (CfS)n update within 3 months after the official approval. It is expected that the application for the authorization of merantizapine and clopidazole will be submitted before August 31, 2018. The application for authorization of chlorate, thienam, and buprenorphine should be submitted before September 30, 2018. .
