This consultation is open for comment from 25 October 2017 to 23 January 2018 (90 calendar days).<br data-filtered=\"filtered\" \/><br data-filtered=\"filtered\" \/>Due to health concerns, the following changes are proposed:<br data-filtered=\"filtered\" \/><br data-filtered=\"filtered\" \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cancellation of use of dichlorvos strips used indoors in domestic and commercial areas (excluding areas that are unoccupied for a minimum of 4 months)<br data-filtered=\"filtered\" \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cancellation of use on commercial greenhouse cucumbers, tomatoes and cut flower ornamentals, as well as for outdoor mosquito control and outdoor residential areas<br data-filtered=\"filtered\" \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Additional protection for workers applying dichlorvos or entering treated areas<br data-filtered=\"filtered\" \/><br data-filtered=\"filtered\" \/>Dichlorvos is a pesticide used by growers, licensed applicators and the general public to control insects on crops, in buildings and in and around homes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-family: Arial;
