On January 16, 2018, the European Union has announced three Commission Regulations amending Annexes II, III and IV to Directive 2005\/396\/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to maximum residue levels (MRL) for pesticide in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin.<\/p>\n

Maximum Residue Levels for Pesticides in Certain Products<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

The changes and amendments in these three Commission Regulations (EU) relate to the MRLs for pesticide residues of ametoctradin, chlorpyrifos-methyl, cyproconazole, difenoconazole, fluazinam, flutriafol, prohexadione, sodium chloride, 2-phenylphenol, bensulfuron-methyl, dimethachlor, lufenuron and mercury compounds, in or on, certain products imported to the EU. Details of the changes are shown in table 1.<\/p>\n
