Mastering the big data on the use of pesticides in China can play an important role in guiding pesticide production and industry decision-making. A few days ago, the National Agricultural Technology Center held a 2018 training course on pesticide use survey and monitoring in Guiyang. In the training class, the National Agricultural Technology Center conducted a comprehensive summary of the implementation status of the national survey and monitoring of pesticide use in 2017 and exchanged the main practices and experiences of conducting pesticide surveys for farmers throughout the country, focusing on a systematic analysis of summarized data and introducing The project implementation plan for 2018.
It is understood that the national pesticide use investigation and monitoring project has been launched since 2015. During the past three years, through continuous exploration, a relatively systematic and scientific investigation and analysis method has been formed. Under the active participation of a large number of farmers, a large number of farmers from all over the country have obtained a full range of medications. Data, and statistical analysis to form the basic information of the status of pesticide use in China, these information plays an important role in guiding the scientific use of pesticides in China and even the development of the pesticide industry.
Experts at the meeting disclosed that between 2015 and 2017, the total amount of commodities used in pesticide farming in China, hundreds of hundreds of prescriptions, the cost of medications, and the number of medications used are decreasing year by year; the amount of commercial pesticides, the amount of vitamins, the cost of medication, and the number of medications used Decreasing year by year; micro-toxic and low-toxicity pesticides appear to fluctuate with the severity of pests and diseases; highly toxic and highly toxic pesticides are significantly reduced year by year. From the perspective of crops, fruit trees, rice, and open-season vegetables are crops with a large amount of pesticides, hundreds of them, and a large amount of medicines.
The project personnel suggested that, on the basis of conscientious summaries, the investigation statistics and analysis methods and research results formed by the implementation of pesticide use survey and monitoring projects should be compiled into a book and formally published, providing a reference for pesticide use survey and monitoring in various places.
