According to the latest statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics, China exported a total of 2.54 million tons of chemical fertilizer in July, compared with 2.41 million tons in the same period last year, an increase of 5.4%. January~ July total exports of 14.53 million tons of fertilizer, down 3%; January July total exports of 3.387 billion US dollars, down 6.7%. The difference between the fertilizer is very large.
            Diammonium phosphate, fertilizer with ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate and other varieties of exports in good condition. July exports of 82.5 million tons of diammonium phosphate, an increase of 37.9%, of which a country’s exports to India as high as 470,000 tons; January to July total exports of 3.01 million tons of diammonium phosphate, an increase of 15%. July exports of ammonium phosphate 287,000 tons, an increase of 79%; January to July total exports of 1.464 million tons of ammonium phosphate, an increase of 67%. July exports of ammonium chloride chloride 241,000 tons, the first monthly export volume exceeded 200,000 tons mark, an increase of 35.27%; January to July total exports of ammonium chloride 844,000 tons of fertilizer, an increase of 47.4%. July exports of ammonium sulfate 508,000 tons, an increase of 26.7%; January to July total exports of 1.185 million tons of ammonium sulfate, an increase of 50%.
            While the urea, potassium sulfate and other varieties of poor exports, mainly due to the high export prices of these varieties, the international market competitiveness decline. July exports of 334,000 tons of urea, down 54.1% year on year; January to July total exports of 3.077 million tons of urea, down 46.6%. July exports of 778 tons of potassium sulfate, up 67.7% year on year; January to July total exports of 13.3 million tons of potassium sulfate, down 16.2%.
            In terms of imports, China imported 56 million tons of fertilizer in July, up 36.6% year on year. Among them, imports of potassium chloride 420,000 tons, an increase of 170,000 tons over the same period last year; imports of phosphorus, phosphorus and potassium ternary compound fertilizer 120,000 tons, compared with the same period last year reduced by 30,000 tons. January to July this year, imports of potassium chloride 434 million tons, an increase of 20%; total imports of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ternary compound fertilizer 750,000 tons, down 5.8 /%.
